Tri-CAT

Posted in Eri_Berry on February 16, 2009 by 2netleachon

HAHAHAHA!!!

We needed to buy supplies for Eri, cat food and litter. True suggested to just go to Cartimar. At the back of my mind while we were on our way, I thought to myself, since I already have the money and we are going to Cartimar, which is where Eri’s Vet is, I’ll let her have her vaccinations.

I parked right in front of the clinic. I announced to True and Eri that I will let her have her vaccinations. True instantly disagreed as she is not ready to see Eri get hurt again. I let her have her way for a few hours. After having lunch I was determined that Eri should get her shots. And True being the kind pet owner that she is, agreed.

Eri didn’t cry as much, but she has the reputation of being feisty. The vet’s assistant rememred that from our last visit, Eri’s claws were buried to his hand. Knowing this, he got himself a towel and the rest is history.

Our little baby will be going back after 3 weeks for another shot. I just want her to be safe from any animal virus out there.

Wow!!!

Rainbowbloggers has accepted me as a member. Though I don’t have any blog readers. Maybe soon, I’ll be able to post something of interest and people will read what I have to say. It’s ok, I don’t even advertise my blog anyway. It is a form of self-expression and everyone is entitled to it.

CARA welfare Philippines – Adoption Booth

Posted in Eri_Berry on February 11, 2009 by 2netleachon

I am an official member of the CARA welfare Philippines. CARA stands for Compassion And Responsibility for Animals. I joined the organisation as a thank you for sending Eri (our kitten) into our lives.

I owe it Eri to support her kind. Most people don’t care much for local breeds of cats and dogs, specially cats who are more often the victims of road kill.

I was, one of those who didn’t like cats. Until I met Eri and she proved me wrong. Cats are easier to potty train.

This one is for our kitten Eri, I am now an official member of CARA. I just paid the lifetime membership fee of $11. You can pay this thru PayPal or pay P500. The membership will give you a discounted price for spay/neuter.

I hope the our little Eri will be part of our lives for a very long time…she should be, she has 9 lives

Out and Proud

At long last, months of waiting and planning, it was finally launched. MyFemme magazine. The first lesbian magazine in the Philippines. Though I have been involved, during the time that we were still collaborating ideas for it, I never saw the media kit. We were joking that it was just a hobby for “poks” (as my partner calls her).

We arrived early, we were asked to help with the preparations for the party. Since we came from Paranaque, our arrival was just an hour before the party started.

I was not disappointed, the party was packed, my friends were there. I even gave free tequila shots just to encourage people to dance.

Looking forward to the next issue and that means thinking of what to contribute for the magazine then.

Setting up a Mini-Call Center of your own

Posted in True Customer Services, Work on January 29, 2009 by 2netleachon

It’s sad that I had to finish the project with Armando (his name sounds like those of Mexican telenovelas). He was a good employer. I just didn’t have that much time.

It was fun though. I was my own mini-call-center. It was my first home-based project. The project inspired me to venture on the idea of setting a home-based call center. None of that PABX phones.

Things to do:
1. Get a Skype account with a phone number attached. You can have the calls forwarded to it.
2. Find a chat support service, there are several for free and I used IntelliliveHelp. Offer the link to you client. You can use this link to different websites since you can track which website is the incoming chat coming from. Also, it can track the visitors of the site.

That is simple customer service for an inbound account. Phone and Chat. Emails will need to be provided by the client as it is their domain. If you get one then just forward them to you Gmail account and you can reply using the given address.

It’s best to create your website to be more business like. Prospective clients will know that you are serious with the project and your home-based business.

Set-up is quick and easy. You just have to put your heart in it.

And 2009 is here

It is a common thing for most of us to have new year’s resolution and it is more common that we are not able to implement these resolutions until the second month of the year. Maybe because there are just some things that are better left as they are.

Instead of resolutions it would be better to maintain what I think is best for me.

My kitten of course will remain for many years to come. My currently relationship which I hope will also remain for many years.

What I hope that will progress is the online career that I am pursuing. Bills are piling up and I need the extra income badly.

I will find the time to learn french (again) and other skils that can be useful for work.

I still need to update the TrueCustomerService website (which I hope to learn how to…)

And lastly, the deadlines…all of my deadlines are still going to be finished on time.

Need to have a new project

Posted in Uncategorized on December 25, 2008 by 2netleachon

I had a new one but it did not last long. It was very easy, I just had to summarize emails.

I think I better start looking for new ones before the year ends and with a higher rate.

I should start editing my website.

Psychotherapist Emails

Posted in True Customer Services, Work with tags on November 17, 2008 by 2netleachon

I was able to get another project. This time I need to create a database of Psychotherapists in Washington. I am having more logged in time at ODesk and this means that I will be earning a few more. I am still trying to get a few more but with a higher hourly rate. It may take a while but I am determined that I will be able to get it.

I am still waiting for another one who interviewed me last week. It also requires 6 hours a day. I’ll be working most of the time during the day to be able to accommodate the online work I have. Most of the data entry and blog writing will be done when I am at the office. I know that this will work out, because it has to.

Layout – True Customer Service/doodlekit

Posted in True Customer Services on November 12, 2008 by 2netleachon

I changed the layout design of the website based from the comments of my niece. It is easier now to access the pages though I have not finished creating the content of some of the pages. Hopefully, this can attract buyers from ODesk when I post the link in my cover letter. The layour change is still minimal. I am still having second thoughts I will be getting a paid website. May be when I get more clients, I’ll get myself a paid website.

Gay City Guide

Posted in True Customer Services, Work with tags on November 12, 2008 by 2netleachon

My being included in the gay and lesbian community has it’s advantages. I was hired to write a gay city guide. Though I am still in their trial period, I hope my few logged hours will be paid.

I was asked to write a city guide for London, Phuket and San Diego. Much to my surprise I did not know that Phuket was a popular place for the gay community.

I submitted the 3 city guides. I just wish that I will be able to pass their trial period to have the full list of 40 cities since they are not paying per city but by the hour.

I really need to get this online job rolling. Bills are piling up.
